RAH FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022
At this time no determination has been made for the 2021-2022 school year. The Chicago Ridge Park District is carefully monitoring the state's reopening plan. Check back often for updates on our RAH (Recreation After Hours) Program as we strive to meet the needs of our working families.
RAH BEGINS WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26th 3pm-6pm
Due to COVID-19 the Chicago Ridge Park District will be adjusting the RAH Program for the 2020-2021 school year!
The RAH program serves children in kindergarten-8th grade attending Ridge Central, Ridge Lawn and Finley Jr. High. RAH will be held at the Freedom Activity Center Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm for those of you choosing the HYBRID LEARNING MODEL ONLY. Transportation will be provided after school through the Chicago Ridge Park District. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED.
We will be following the School District 127.5 calendar. Following the hybrid school schedule, if your child is in GROUP A (students with last names starting with A-J) RAH will be available for your child on Mondays, Wednesday and alternating Fridays only, 3:00pm-6:00pm.
If your child is in GROUP B (students with last names starting with K-Z) RAH will be available for your child on Tuesdays, Thursdays and alternating Fridays only, 3:00pm-6:00pm.
We will not be offering mornings, full days, or half days at this time.
REGISTRATION IS AT FRONTIER FIELDHOUSE MONDAY, AUGUST 17 through WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19 12pm-8pm.
Late registration will be taken by appointment only.

- Information and Authorization Form completed and signed.
- Emergency Treatment Release completed and signed.
- Registration/Brochure Waiver & Release completed and signed.
- Handbook Waiver Form.
- Proof of residency.
- Credit Card Authorization Form for file (this information will be used to pay for the days you request on the weekly RAH Payment Forms only).
2019-2020 RAH Information
MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Each month, all RAH participants receive a newsletter and activities calendar. We will highlight RAH happenings, field trips, parent reminders on half days and full days and other park district special events.
EARLY DISMISSALS
When your child's school has an 11:30 dismissal we will pick your child up from their school. Please make sure you send your child with a lunch and snack to get through the day. An early dismissal session is 11:30am - 6:00pm.
SNACK TIME
Children should bring a snack everyday to refresh after school. We provide vending machines if you wish to send your child with money.
FULL DAYS
When you child's school is off or on break you can sign your child up for an exciting fun day at RAH. The children will participate in indoor and outdoor activities, crafts or may even have a field trip scheduled. Your child will need a lunch and 2 snacks. Full Day RAH is available from 6:30am - 6:00pm.
FACILITIES
Throughout the school year the RAH program utilizes various park district facilities during each day. Facilities include Freedom Activity Center, Frontier Fieldhouse, Ball Fore, Lily Pad; as well various park district playgrounds. The RAH participants may visit the Chicago Ridge Library on some occasions. All information will be listed on our monthly newsletter.
PAYMENTS
Scheduling and payments are due the Friday before the corresponding week begins. A late fee of $10.00 will be assessed if the deadline is not met. Refunds and credits will not be issued for missed days. Please see our price Chart below.
Registration Fee
To Register your child please go to the Freedom Activity Center. You will have to show proof of residency, copy of child’s birth certificate, fill out child information form and pay registration fee. Additional policies apply; program book will be provided upon sign up.
